This book was written in 1991 by Tom Schmidt in recognition of O.F. Christner's contributions to outboard racing over a period of approximately 40 years beginning in the late 1940's. This book is presented here with the gracious permission of the author, Mr. Tom Schmidt. Unfortunately my scans came from a photocopy of the original. The quality of the photos are poor at best. While decent photos would have been good to look at, the importance of the book is in the telling of the story of O.F. Christner and Quincy Welding. There is a new website hosted by Don Muncie called Quincy Merc Looper Club International that has a lot of information and interesting stuff about O.F. Christner and Quincy Welding.
